Customer Service Technician
For our Customer Service, we are hiring a Technician with a 1st two-year experience in maintenance. The candidate must be technically versatile: general mechanics, electrotechnics, pneumatics and vacuum techniques if possible.
Skills Requirements & Knowledge:
- Vacuum techniques (theoretical & practical)
- General Mechanics (relative to vacuum techniques would be an asset)
- Electrotechnics (BC/BR/B2V/H0V accreditations)
- Technical English (a 6-month stay abroad would be an asset)
- Computer Literate (Suite Office knowledge as a minimum)
For this position in ongoing contact with customers, the applicant must have the following qualifications:
- Be customer oriented with the ability to develop a long-term customer relationship
- Be thorough, well organized with planning skills and the ability to work independently
- Be technically curious and versatile (at both technical and organizational levels).
Previous Training: An in-house training will be provided for a period of 6 months (+/- 2 months) during which the applicant will work in pairs on internal projects to quickly understand the way the company operates, as well as on maintenance operations, in order to quickly identify the various technologies and businesses to be assimilated.
Customer on-site Intervention :
- Annual volume: At the end of the training period, 80 to 90 days per year are to be spent at the customer’s site, representing business trips of 1~5 days, from Monday to Friday. Business trips during week-ends are more unusual (business trips locations: France, Switzerland, Eastern Europe, Spain, Portugal, China and India).
- Interventions are planned with the approval of the Customer Service Manager.
- Organization of on-site interventions: preparation of the equipment, control of the references, preparation of the packaging according to our customers’ internal regulations, review for standard replacements, assembly of modules, wiring, etc.
- Get and review the necessary documents for on-site interventions.
- Perform preventive or curative interventions.
- Manage interventions and be the customer’s main contact (in charge of the operations).
- Draft and follow-up the intervention reports (intervention form).
Sales:
- Participate in the drafting of the customer service quotations, by developing the technical part in accordance with the customers’ discussions and in agreement with the Customer Service Manager.
- Ensure accurate and consistent billing.
- Ensure the responsiveness of billing.
- Recall customers (especially regarding maintenance deadlines).
- Provide technical support to our customers, either by answering phone calls or emails.
Other missions:
- Follow procedures, operating procedures and registration documents.
- Respect the company’s internal regulations.
- Continuously maintain and develop the Alliance Concept image.
Customer Service Engineer
For our Customer Service, we are hiring a General Engineer, with a 1st experience (two years) in maintenance. The candidate must be technically versatile: mechanics, electrotechnics, pneumatics and vacuum techniques if possible.
For this position in ongoing contact with customers, the applicant must have the following qualifications:
- Be customer oriented with the ability to develop a long-term customer relationship
- Be thorough, well organized with planning skills
- Have the ability to work independently
- Be technically curious
- Be versatile (at both technical and organizational levels)
- Be available for travelling 80 to 90 days a year, mainly in France, Switzerland and Western Europe, rarely further.
- Have a very good level of English
The core functions of the position are divided into 4:
Sales :
- Participate in the drafting of quotations for maintenance contracts, spare parts supply, equipment evolution…
- Draft quotations and ensure the related billing.
Preparation :
- Check the equipment before each operation.
- Check the conformity of ordered parts.
- Insure shipments (packaging, delivery slips, etc.)
Interventions :
- Plan interventions and perform some of them.
- Draft intervention reports.
- Ensure follow-up of the repairs.
Others:
- Ensure phone service (hotline).
- Develop the Alliance Concept customer network.
- Continuously maintain and develop the Alliance Concept image.
