Leak Testing Machines for the Electronics Industry
The electronics industry is not to be missed! This is one of the biggest characteristics of this cutting-edge technology industry. The electronics industry benefits from a privileged position by being present in all the other sectors of activity!
Such as electronics, Alliance Concept demonstrates great flexibility. This is why we can support you in all your leak testing projects.
The leak testing activity is an ideal partner for a sector as dynamic as electronics.
Leak detection by Helium and H2 gas tracer (among others) is a clean and reliable non-destructive control technology. This technology will ensure you an accurate measurement of the smallest defects of your components.
Example of a leak test machine application for the electronics industry: the capacitors
The capacitors are remarkable components thanks to the power density that they can provide.
Ultra-capacitors which are used as bumpers between the speed variator and the accumulators in hybrid cars for example, could not be viable without an optimum air moisture tightness. In fact, an exposure of their internal electrolyte to external ambient air would let them unusable.
Alliance Concept has the know-how and the experience in the electronics sector to guarantee you solutions adapted to your specifications.
The capacitors are produced in large series at high cycle speeds requiring a specific tailored conception. We have carried out this leak testing system using Helium and H2 tracer gas, by interfacing it efficiently with the capacitors production facilities.
The capacitors are tested in batches and conveyed in/out by mats connected to the rest of the production chain. The detection in global mode guarantees a high-precision measurement.
Ultra-Capacitors Leak Testings Technical Data :
- A global mode of 5 parts to be tested simultaneously (chamber)
- Possibility of local test with a ‘RLD sensor’ (Long Distance Sniffing Test Mode)
- Primary pumping of the chamber and parts
- Cycle time < 100s
In addition, the electronics sector was the first to benefit from our Modul’He technology* which we have then extended to all the other sectors. This compact bench allows to test the tightness of 5 capacitors simultaneously and to carry out a sniffing cycle on a dedicated workstation within the same work surface.
This system’s ergonomics is considered as ideal for prototypes or spot quality testings.
