Leak Testing Machine for Gas Meters
Gas meters are produced by millions for residential, commercial and industrial applications. All have the common characteristic to meet very demanding quality standards.
Due to their mechanical design, gas meters are designed for very high leak tightness, which must be perfectly tested for obvious safety reasons.
On several occasions, Alliance Concept has designed leak testing systems using Helium and H2 tracer gas, specifically developed for the energy industry and especially for gas meters leak detection.
To satisfy high production rates, this two-chamber leak testing system is integrated directly into the assembly line for serial testing. A conveyor brings the parts which are then automatically tested into a vacuum chamber.
The automation of this machine is an essential partner of your quality process. To optimize the use of down time, while one product is being tested, another product is being installed in the second chamber.
