Helium
spectrometry
PRINCIPE
- Electrons, give out by the filament, ionize the molecules
inside the chamber.
- Ions produced are launched to the electrode.
- A magnetic field deviate ions He+ on the measure target
to create an electrical current proportional to the number
of He+ ions.
DIFFERENT
METHODS
- Global hard vacuum test.
- Spraying test.
- Sniffing test.
- Bombing test.

Pressure
variance
PRINCIPE
- The piece to test and the reference
piece are simultaneously air pressurized.
- A differential manometer control the
pressure variance functions of the time.
- The sensitivity is function of the
volume and is formulated by the following relation : VdP/dt
avec dP/dt = 1Pa.s-1.

|
Bubble
test
PRINCIPE
- The piece is immersed in the water and air pressurized.
- The operator observe the air bubbles formation exit from
the possible leaks.
- This techniques, essentially visual, does not reach the
industrial quality standard.
